• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• ½ onion, chopped
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 400g lean beef (or pork or chicken), mince
• 2 tbsp oyster sauce
• 2 tbsp water
• 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
• 1 cup carrot, diced
• 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
• 4 lettuce leaf cups
• 1 spring onion, diced
Place oil in a wok or pan and then add onion and garlic and saute for a minute. Add the pork and oyster sauce and stir fry for one minute, add water and cover for one minute to steam.
Toss the mushrooms, carrots and hoisin sauce into the wok and stir fry for further minute to combine.
Serve in lettuce cups and garnish with spring onion.
