There is over $200,000 in prizes up for grabs for the winning parks, headlined by a feature in Woman’s Day, plus over $10,000 in prizes for the voters in the competition.
The finalists showcase a mix of holiday parks from renowned family resorts to parks located in the most stunning destinations such as the Great Ocean Road, Sunshine Coast and the Margaret River area.
The diversity in the holiday park market is reflected in the popular categories open for voting, from the traditional Camping, Family Holiday and Pet Friendly options to the latest trends such as ‘gramping’ and ‘glamping’.
Finalists were selected as the most popular holiday parks on turu.com.au in their respective state or nominated category. Voting is now open on turu.com.au for travellers to pick their favourite park and help to determine the 2014 winner, which will be announced in April.
The official launch for Australia’s Favourite Holiday Park 2014 will be held on Saturday, February 15 during the Weekend Today weather cross direct from the Tasmanian Glamping finalist, Discovery Holiday Park - Hobart.
