Holidaymakers to support Camp Quality at Big4s Camp and Care fundraising event

STA Staff — 15 October 2015

On Saturday November 7, campers can help families grappling with challenging diagnoses by booking a powered site for $20 at one of 90 participating Big4 Holiday Parks Australia-wide, with all proceeds going towards Camp Quality’s charitable efforts.

Camp Quality helps families affected by childhood cancer harness their inner strength through the delivery of a primary school education program, numerous family fun days, therapy support services as well as family and kids’ camps.

Big4 Holiday Parks CEO Steven Wright said that last year Camp & Care raised more than $22,000 for Camp Quality.

"This year, we would like to raise the bar even higher so we can support a greater number of families and also increase awareness for this great cause," said Mr Wright.

As part of the festivities, campers can dress as their favourite superhero and participate in a variety of super activities and games, sharing the frivolity by using the hashtag #myhiddenhero.
