Camper Trailer of the Year (CTOTY), Camper Trailer Australia magazine’s signature editorial event, is on again, from November 21-25, 2016.
This year, the event will take place at Bribie Island, in the beautiful Moreton Bay region of Queensland.
Australia’s biggest camper trailer test, CTOTY celebrates the camper industry in Australia and all that it stands for. We aim to acknowledge the best camper manufacturers in Australia, and we set the bar high for competition.

For the eighth year running, at least a dozen of the country’s best new camper trailers will be join us to vie for the title of Camper Trailer of the Year across four categories:
- Open – up to $25K
- Soft Floor
- Hard Floor
- Hybrid
CTA’s expert team of reviewers, including CTA’s Field Editor Michael Borg, long-term reviewers John Willis and David Cook, and CTOTY stalwart and circulation manager for CTA’s publisher Bauer Media, Stuart Jones.
Each camper will be tested and rated across 10 criteria, including:
- Suitability for intended purpose
- Innovation
- Self-sufficiency
- Quality of finish
- Build quality and construction
- Bush-ability
- Specifications and comfort
- Ease of use
- Value for money
- X-factor
The results of Camper Trailer of the Year will be published across CTA issue 110 (on sale Jan 19, 2017) and issue 110 (on sale Feb 16, 2017) of CTA magazine.
