Camping facilities to double at Paronella Park

CTA Staff — 29 October 2015

A second campsite, 200m down the road from the existing grounds, brings the total number of campsites from 20 up to 40, with all of the new sites having drive-through access for larger rigs.

One night’s stay at the campgrounds, managed by the owners of Paronella Park, is included in the tourist site’s entry fee for patrons who book far enough in advance.

Paronella Park celebrates the efforts of Spanish immigrant Jose Paronella, who built a castle in a forest setting, re-established from 5ha of sugarcane country that annexed two waterfalls, including the spectacular Mena Creek Falls.
